Joanie Sigal

Chairman and Co-Founder, FCSR

Joanie Sigal has been a leader in community activities for over a decade. She is on the Foundation Board of Clearwater Jazz Holiday and a Board member of the Sunscreen Film Festival of St. Petersburg.  (www.sunscreenfilmfestival.com)

Joanie has served on the Communications Advisory Board for the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County and is formally an elected member of the Clearwater Downtown Development Board. Joanie is a past member of the Board of Managers of the Boys & Girls Club of Clearwater and participated in its planning and fundraising activities.

Since 2002, Joanie has been Chairperson of Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) a non-profit charitable volunteer group dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Tampa Bay area.  (www.clearwatercommunityvolunteers.org)

Joanie is presently partner in SJS Marketing with her husband Steve. Previously Joanie was Director of Qualify Control for Postcardmania and Director of Operations for Bulldog Capital Management and Monitor Fund Advisors, LLC where she managed special projects of the Founder’s non-profit family foundation as well as being instrumental in supporting hedge fund growth to over $1 billion under management.. She has served as Senior Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Government Technology Services, Inc. the leading high technology reseller of software and technology services to Federal and State government. Joanie is an accomplished singer and has had a successful career in musical theatre and she co-founded Nova School of the Arts, a community-based organization dedicated to teaching children and teenagers how to sing and play music.


Brett Miller

Co-Founder, Political Guru and Vice-Chairman FCSR

Mr. Miller is Founder and President of Sauna Health Systems. His consulting firm assists health and wellness professionals to implement a unique occupational health program demonstrated to improve both physical and mental quality of life characteristics. He does considerable work for the Heroes Health Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping first responders, military personal and others.

A former Army Officer and European-based helicopter pilot, Mr. Miller also has considerable international business experience having established a worldwide distribution network for Lorenz Surgical, a medical device manufacturer based in Jacksonville, FL.

Mr. Miller is or has been an active participant in a variety of community and political organizations including the Tampa Bay Builders Association, The Chamber of Commerce, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast and various Republican Party & candidate organizations. He currently serves as a Community Advisory Board Member for Congressman Gus Bilirakis.

Mr. Miller holds an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, a BS in Agricultural Engineering and a BS in Agricultural Science from the University of Illinois. He was an honor graduate of Initial Entry Rotary Wing Flight Training at the US Army Aviation School, Ft. Rucker, AL.


Steve Sigal

Co-Founder

Steve has been active in the Tampa Bay area community for over 15 years, working with his wife an various charitable events and fundraisers.

Steve has over twenty three years’ experience as a senior marketing communications, having been VP Marketing for a rapidly growing technology firm reaching revenues of $800 million. His background includes VP Strategic Research for Survey.com and a Marketing Communications executive at several hi-technology companies. He has been honored with five industry awards for promotion and direct mail marketing campaigns and founded his own Public Relations Company in his early years.
